Copyright Policy
Last updated: May 30, 2026
VeroPlay is built on a foundation of copyright respect. We take rights ownership seriously and only allow verified, rights-confirmed music on the platform.
Our Commitment to Copyright
VeroPlay is a rights-first music streaming platform. Every track on VeroPlay has been manually reviewed and approved by our administration team. We require all uploaders to confirm they own or control the rights to any content they submit.
We do not permit:
- Uploading music or artwork that you do not own or have authorization to distribute
- Submitting content under false rights claims or fabricated ownership information
- Distributing copyrighted content belonging to others without a license or permission
- Impersonating another artist, rights owner, or music label
Uploader Responsibilities
All partner labels and verified artists uploading content to VeroPlay must:
- Own or control the full rights to all uploaded music, artwork, and associated metadata
- Provide accurate rights owner name and licensing contact information for each track
- Confirm copyright ownership before submission (required checkbox at upload)
- Immediately notify VeroPlay if a rights dispute arises over submitted content
- Not submit content on behalf of an artist without proper written authorization
All submitted content is subject to admin review before becoming publicly available. Approval does not waive VeroPlay's right to remove content later if a rights violation is identified.

Our Response to Copyright Complaints
Upon receiving a valid copyright complaint, VeroPlay may:
- Temporarily hide or restrict the disputed content while the complaint is reviewed
- Contact the uploader to request explanation or additional rights documentation
- Permanently remove the content if the infringement claim is substantiated
- Suspend or terminate the account of repeat infringers
- Forward complaint details to the uploader as part of our dispute process
We aim to respond to all valid copyright complaints within 14 business days.
Counter-Notification & Dispute Review
If you are an uploader and believe content was removed in error due to a false or mistaken copyright complaint, you may submit a counter-notification.
Your counter-notification should include:
- Your full name and contact email
- Identification of the content that was removed and its original URL
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed in error
- Evidence of your ownership or authorization to distribute the content
- A declaration that the information in your counter-notice is accurate
VeroPlay will review counter-notifications and may reinstate content if the dispute is resolved in the uploader's favor. We reserve the right to make the final determination in all disputes.
Note: Submitting false or abusive copyright complaints or counter-notifications may result in account suspension and/or legal liability.
Repeat Infringers
VeroPlay maintains a strict repeat infringer policy. Accounts that are subject to multiple substantiated copyright complaints will be:
- Warned and required to remove all infringing content
- Placed under enhanced review for all future submissions
- Suspended from uploading pending investigation
- Permanently terminated at VeroPlay's discretion
False Claims
Submitting false, misleading, or abusive copyright complaints is a serious matter. VeroPlay reserves the right to:
- Reject complaints that lack sufficient evidence or detail
- Dismiss complaints that appear to be submitted in bad faith
- Take action against complainants who repeatedly file unsubstantiated claims
False copyright claims may also expose the complainant to legal liability under applicable law.
